Man dies days after South Deering shooting

A man died days after he was wounded in a drive-by shooting in the South Deering neighborhood.

Emauni Ryhane, 24, was traveling in a vehicle Wednesday when someone in a silver SUV shot at him in the 1500 block of East 95th Street about 9:40 p.m., Chicago police said.

Ryhane was struck in the head and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

He died Sunday, the Cook County medical examiner's office said.

No arrests have been made.
