Description: Andritz will supply a new high-capacity chemi-mechanical pulp production line to Zhanjiang China Paper Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangdong Guanhao High-Tech Co., Ltd. in Guangdong Province, China. The new line will fill the gap in the company’s chemi-mechanical pulp supply and end Guangdong Guanhao High-Tech Co., Ltd.’s dependence on market pulp.

Zhao Guohong, Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Guanhao and Chief Project Director of Zhanjiang China Paper, says: “Our dependence on market chemi-mechanical pulp has led to certain limitations in our high-end white cardboard production. The new line from Andritz will enable us to produce our own pulp, reducing raw material risks and enhancing competitiveness.”

Details: The new P-RC APMP (Pre-Conditioning Refiner Chemical Alkaline Peroxide Mechanical Pulp) line, with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons, will produce high-quality pulp for premium white cardboard. Andritz will supply the complete line, including systems for wood chip washing, impregnation, high- consistency refining, bleaching, washing, low-consistency refining, screening, and rejects treatment. Andritz will also provide the installation supervision, commissioning, start-up, and training.

The line combines high-quality pulp production with minimal energy consumption and environmental impact based on the following key equipment:
