PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the gang are making an appearance in Portland this fall.

Celebrating the 75th anniversary of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts, The MAiZE, on Portland’s Sauvie Island, unveiled a Peanuts-themed corn maze for 2024.

The MAiZE is among 75-plus corn mazes across the United States joining the tribute to the Peanuts gang.

“We’re thrilled to work with Peanuts Worldwide and The MAiZE to bring Schulz’ characters to life in our corn maze,” said Craig Easterly, owner of The MAiZE at the Pumpkin Patch. “Visitors will love interacting with Snoopy and the gang in a hands-on way they may never have experienced before!"

“After the tremendous success of our 2016 collaboration, when millions of visitors in communities around the world visited the Peanuts-themed corn mazes, it’s a privilege and a delight to once again partner with Peanuts Worldwide in honor of their 75 years,” The MAiZE Founder Brett Herbst said. “We salute the genius of Charles Schulz and couldn’t be happier to celebrate this milestone by bringing families together to create new and lasting memories.”

Jill Schulz, the daughter of Charles Schulz, said, “For 75 years, Peanuts has charmed, delighted, and moved fans through my father’s creativity and wit—and what a wonderful way to celebrate his work than with the ingenuity of these Peanuts corn mazes!” She added, “It will be a thrill to see Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the gang rising from the heartland, and I just wish my dad could see his creations ‘writ large’.”

Spanning eight acres, this marks the 26th year of The MAiZE "getting Portlanders lost."

The farm offers several attractions including the pumpkin patch, the Big Red Animal Barn with several furry and feathery friends, a fresh produce market, hayrides, bonfire rentals, a cow train, cottage gift shop, and antique tractor displays.

The MAiZE is open through Oct. 31 Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. October hours are Sunday-Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for kids and seniors and free for kids five years old and younger.
