The Mountain Goats to perform in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Indie-folk band The Mountain Goats will be performing at The Egg in Albany this fall. The concert is scheduled for October 11 at 8 p.m.

Fronted by John Darnielle, the band has released 22 studio albums across their career. They are best known for their songs "No Children," "This Year," and "The Best Ever Death Metal Band in Denton."

The Mountain Goats will be joined for the performance alongside singer-songwriter Tift Merritt. The show is a stop on the "Bochum Riders" tour.
