Jim 'Mattress Mack' McIngvale gives update on his health after cognitive concerns

We’re sending good thoughts to the man known as Mattress Mack — that would be Jim McIngvale, the Houston business owner who bets large sums of money on sporting events, particularly when it’s involving teams from Houston.

McIngvale revealed recently on videos released to X (formerly Twitter) that he went to St. Luke’s Hospital due to “a little trouble with some cognitive things” but said he would be fine.

In a more recent update on Sunday, he said the hospital was running tests after he drove to work and missed his exit, and then didn’t know what day it was.
