Woman’s car set on fire

A 51-year-old woman’s car in Limassol was deliberately set on fire with the flames engulfing a nearby vehicle too, police said on Monday.

The case is being investigated as an arson attack, after the incident unfolded in the early hours of Monday morning shortly past midnight in Yermasoyia.

Police believe the fire began with flammable material as part of an arson attack.

The flames spread to another vehicle parked outside an apartment building belonging to a 67-year-old woman.

The 51-year-old said she did not suspect anyone.
