3 Reasons why Rohit Sharma should not Part Ways from Mumbai Indians before IPL 2025

The biggest debate on IPL 2024 along with upcoming IPL 2025 is the situation of the Mumbai Indian’ dressing room. Some suggest that the dismissal in IPL 2024 was simply due to performance, most rumours say that things were not well between the old and new captain, i.e. Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya.

Even after reports suggesting that Rohit might feel upset about captaincy change and look to get released, Mumbai would do their best to not let their successful player part ways from them before IPL 2025, especially after they were last in IPL 2024.

Rohit has been part of MI since IPL 2011 and has led them to 5 successful IPL titles.

Rohit is an awesome leader, either in franchise cricket or international cricket. He led MI to five IPL titles in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020. He was also the leader of the Indian team when they won the T20 World Cup 2024. Though Pandya is to lead the team in IPL again in 2025, the support and strategies made by Rohit are sure to help him and the management to make better decisions.

Batsmanship

Rohit is the best batter MI ever had without a doubt. he has scored 5,458 runs in the 14 seasons he played for franchise. Rohit is the most powerful batter that Mumbai has found, and someone to replace him will be tough for the management. Until Rohit is available, it would be better for MI to keep him as long as possible.

Loyalty

One thing true to most Indian cricketers with a big name is that they have stayed loyal to their franchise. Just like MS Dhoni is to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) or Virat Kohli is to Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rohit has also been loyal to Mumbai Indians (MI) through their hard and soft.

It is highly unsure that even after the change which goes regarding the leadership change in MI, Rohit will take any step to leave the franchise.
