Extended holidays pull down Naukri Jobspeak Index in August

The Naukri Jobspeak Index, a measure of white-collar hiring in India, fell by 3% year-on-year in August to 2,576 points. A unique clubbing of holidays in the second half of the month affected recruitment activities. However, sectors like accounting, finance, and AI/ML showed significant growth despite the overall decline.
