Bombay HC directs Shiv Sena MP Waikar to file affidavit on rival's plea challenging his Lok Sabha win

The Bombay High Court has instructed Ravindra Waikar, a Shiv Sena member, to respond to a petition challenging his recent election as an MP. Amol Kirtikar, the rival Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate, alleges serious discrepancies and lapses during the vote-counting process and seeks to have Waikar's win declared null and void.
