US Open: World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka reaches quarter-finals

Aryna Sabalenka defeated Elise Mertens 6-2, 6-4, securing her place in the US Open quarterfinals for the fourth consecutive year. The world number two and Australian Open winner will now face Donna Vekic or China's Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen. Sabalenka previously reached the semifinals in 2021 and 2022 and was runner-up last year.
