Man attacked with a machete on Bronx subway: NYPD
BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 31-year-old was attacked with a machete on a Bronx subway early Saturday morning, according to the NYPD.
The attack happened around 1:15 a.m. on a northbound 2 train approaching the Allerton Avenue station, police said. The suspected attacker got into an argument with the 31-year-old, then took out a machete and struck the man in the arm and hand, police said.
The man was rushed to an area hospital in stable condition. Police have not caught the machete-wielder, who officials have identified as 54-year-old Runadieo Jordan, according to the NYPD.
