Jennifer Lopez ‘breaks silence’ on divorce from Ben Affleck as she shares cryptic quote & thirst trap in thong swimsuit
JENNIFER Lopez has broken her silence on her divorce from Ben Affleck.
On Friday, J.Lo shared several “summer” photos, including a thirst trap thong swimsuit pic, with a new Instagram post.
Jennifer, 55, captioned the photos, “Oh, it was a summer,” seemingly a reference to her tumultuous summer with Ben, 51.
The social media post featured numerous photos taken over the summer, several of which included cryptic quotes that appeared to address her and the Gone Girl star’s divorce.
“Everything is unfolding in divine order,” read one slide.
Another showed a T-shirt with text on the front, reading, “She’s in bloom and unbothered, out of reach and at peace.”
While not explicitly mentioning her ex-husband Ben, the quotes also appeared to hint at her mindset following their breakup.
One photo, a mirror selfie, captured the Hustlers star showing off her svelte figure in a skin-tight black turtleneck and matching black jeans.
Another mirror selfie showed J.Lo flaunting her famous backside in a white thong swimsuit while staring intensely at the camera.
She included a pic of her cooling off by licking an ice cream cone at a desert shop and another selfie that showed her smiling while catching some rays in a brown bikini top.
Jennifer also uploaded snapshots of her children, their pet kitten and dog, and a relaxing bubble bath.
A sweet picture of her leaning on the shoulder of her sister Lynda Lopez was also included in the post.
In the comment section, one fan wrote, “Blooming, unbothered and blessing our timelines. Love you Queen!”
“So excited for the next ERA,” commented another.
“A new era awaits…” agreed a third.
A fourth person added, “There she goes! Gorgeous!”

Last Tuesday, August 20, Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben after months of split speculation.
JLo filed legal documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court pro per – meaning without an attorney, per TMZ.
The Out of Sight actress listed the date of separation as April 26, 2024.
Ironically, the date of the filing, August 20, is the second anniversary of the ex-couple’s traditional wedding ceremony they held in Georgia.
In the docs, Jennifer did not mention whether or not the pair had a prenuptial agreement but sources with knowledge told TMZ the pair didn’t have one in place.
That means whatever earnings or profit Jen and Ben made during their nearly two-year marriage is community property.
In 2020, Forbes listed Jennifer’s net worth as $150 million.
As of August 1, Celebrity Net Worth has Ben’s net worth equaling Jennifer’s at approximately $150 million.
According to the legal docs, Jennifer waived spousal support and has requested the judge to deny Ben such support as well.
Before Jennifer filed for divorce the pair had barely been seen together in public with one of their last outings being in June 2024.
Last month, Ben purchased a $20.5 million home in Brentwood, California, after moving out of the former couple’s Beverly Hills estate this past spring.
At the end of July, the exes listed the Beverly Hills mansion for $68 million.

The pair brought in a lot of money during their short marriage.
Ben starred in a number of movies and also produced two films, which saw him included on the 2023 list of the highest-paid actors having pulled in around $38 million in earnings last year.
His bride has also been busy, starring in the likes of The Mother, Shotgun Wedding, and This Is Me … Now, her album turned movie that focused on the pair reconciling after their previous engagement was called off in 2004.
The pair also bought their 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom mansion for around $68 million after months of searching for the perfect marital home.
According to docs, they took out a $20 million mortgage on the property after initially paying for the property in cash.
Lopez also has several brand deals promoting everything from alcoholic beverages to Italian lingerie with Intimissimi.

Last month, the Daily Mail reported the couple’s divorce had been finalized for weeks.
“They finalized the divorce papers with her a month ago, but are waiting for the right time to drop them,” a source told the outlet.
“At that time, they will release a joint statement that will say how they have much love for each other and how they fought to make it work, but couldn’t.
“Honestly, in the end, they could not come to a compromise. What they had before is gone and they have both accepted it.”
A source claimed to InTouch that Jen and Ben were dealing with major marital struggles and would go weeks without spending time together.
“It’s over; they’re headed for a divorce, and for once [Ben’s] not to blame. He’s focusing on his work and kids now,” the source claimed.
“They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”
