When did the word 'press' or words 'the press' become so popular in footballing terms? It all anyone spoke about during the euros and now every commentator says it non stop during games. I watched the U21 game on YouTube last week and the dude commentating said it easily once a minute. It's getting pretty annoying. Sorry if you haven't noticed previously and you do from now on. We can start a petition to ban it I suppose. I am guessing it replaced 'close them down' or 'pressure' as we used to shout in my playing days. Sometimes I have nightmares of Garry Neville saying it over and over again*
