Lois Katherine, from Birmingham, gave her hallways the update it needed for just £12, and it took her no time at all to do.

She shared exactly how she did it on TikTok, and her viral video has left people inspired to do the same thing in their homes.

The mum bagged some peel and stick wallpaper from TikTok shop for just £11.30 – and she ended up having some leftover too.

The DIY whizz explained that she knew she needed to try the trend after she saw other people doing the same thing on social media, so took the plunge and placed her order.

The wallpaper comes in three different colours, black, grey and white, she noted.

“This was super thick and not thin and cheap looking. You simply cut and peel it to size,” she said.

Applying the wallpaper was easier than you could imagine too, and Lois managed to do totally on her own too.

She started by applying one sheet behind the console table in her hallway, then pleased with how it turned out added another for some extra definition.

The bargain buy is designed to look exactly like posh panelling, but unlike the real deal it won’t break the bank and is easy to remove if you’re renting.

Lois did the same thing with two sheets of the peel and stick design on the adjacent wall, and the result looked so stunning.

“Look at the difference for less than £12,” the mum raved on TikTok.

And she wasn’t the only one who was impressed with her handywork, others rushed to the comments to praise the transformation too.

One said: “Looks lovely but does it show all the imperfections on the wall underneath?”

But Lois assured that the wallpaper is thick enough to hide any lumps and bumps you might already have on your walls.

“This looks beautiful, I bought the same paper and I love the wood feel on it,” a second wrote.

“You are making it look way too easy,” another chimed in.

And someone else said: “So stunning, well done you.”
