September to witness above average rainfall

India is expected to experience above-average rainfall this month, potentially delaying the withdrawal of the monsoon season and impacting kharif crop output. Rainfall is forecasted to exceed 109% of the 50-year average, with most regions, except the extreme north, south peninsular, and northeastern parts, seeing above-normal precipitation.
