Disbarred lawyer found guilty of stealing millions from clients

LOS ANGELES, California: Tom Girardi, the disbarred celebrity lawyer who embezzled tens of millions of dollars from clients that included accident victims, was convicted this week.

The 85-year-old Girardi was found guilty by a federal jury in Los Angeles on four counts of wire fraud after a 13-day trial and less than a full day of deliberations.
