A WOMAN who is in a relationship with a man over double her age has revealed why she doesn’t care what the naysayers have to say about it all.
Ellie Liptrot, from the UK, took to social media to answer some of the most asked questions about her controversial relationship.
After meeting her boyfriend, Mark, when she was just 18-years-old, Ellie, who is now 21, confessed that things moved pretty fast.
In fact, the pair moved in together and booked a relaxing sunny getaway as their love progressed.
Things weren’t always smooth sailing though, as Mark, 44, has kids from a previous relationship, who are now 15 and 12.
Ellie admitted when the kids moved in with her and Mark it was “quite awkward” to begin with.
Luckily, the awkwardness didn’t last too long and Ellie now gets on with his kids.
As for Mark’s age, she explained that their relationship makes sense, since he’s just a kid at heart.
“Mark definitely seems and acts a lot younger, if anyone knows Mark he’s definitely in denial about his age,” she said.
Backlash about their relationship is nothing surprising for Ellie, since her parents also don’t agree with it.
“The never really liked Mark,” she confessed.
Although was previously a dental nurse, Ellie decided to quit her job after starting her relationship with Mark and now makes most of her income through being an nail and eyelash technician, plus the money she makes from social media.
The influencer received backlash for her relationship earlier this year when she showed off her haul of goodies from designer jewellery to wads of cash while on a holiday to Thailand that she paid for.
llie revealed she had paid for the couple to enjoy some time away in sunny Thailand but was spoilt rotten while away.
Although Mark went all out with the goods, his personal favourite present he bought Ellie was a book called The Good Wife Guide, by Ladies’ Homemaker Monthly.

Elli also showed that Mark had bought her a Gucci ring but also handed her £450 worth of Thai Baht to spend on her own shopping trip.
She also got a new charm for her Nomination gold bracelet with a 21 to mark the special birthday.
He also picked her up her favourite pricey moisturiser from Augustus Bader, the Rich Cream, which costs £230.
After sharing the ins-and-outs of their relationship in the viral clip people rushed to the comments to share their thoughts.
One said: “To be honest when I first came across your account I didn’t have the best perception of your relationship, but I feel like you’ve been together a while and you’re both genuinely happy and that’s all that counts.”
A second chimed in: “I don’t know why other people see it as a problem with the age, you were literally 18.”
But others still had their doubts about their love, with one person commenting that Mark “defo [sic] has a fat wallet.”
