FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Buckeye football is back! Scarlet fans and gray skies. Raining showers and touchdowns passes. The best chance for showers and storms today will be from pregame though about halftime. If you are heading to the Shoe, have the rain gear ready to go.

Temperatures today will be much cooler across central Ohio. High temperatures will only reach the low 80s by this afternoon. This evening will bring falling temps and lower humidity.

Overnight skies will become partly cloudy. With the cold front moving across central Ohio our low temperatures will vary greatly. North of the city will be in the low 60s. South of the I-71 corridor will be in the upper 60s. Columbus will split the difference.

Tomorrow will warm up a little bit with highs in the upper 80s. For the most part we will see clearing skies. There is a small chance for a stray pop-up shower or two. Labor Day will be very cool and comfortable. Dry weather sticks around once again through the new work week.
