Aid for 'the forgotten fork': Jefferson River project will add cold water, help protect spawning habitat

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, working with a landowner and irrigator, will move irrigation diversion points from spring creeks to the Jefferson River, adding cold water and protecting spawning habitat.
