Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat stated that India could become one of the world's top 10 tourism destinations within five years due to increased spending power and global interest. He highlighted the sector's growth potential and noted that 65 percent of inbound tourists come from seven Indian states, predicting domestic and international tourism will soon skyrocket.
