Oasis issue big warning to fans as website resells tickets for ‘price of a house’

OASIS loyals are urging fellow fans to boycott re-sale website Viagogo after it was flogging reunion tour tickets for “the price of a house.”

The swathes of anger have now prompted the Wonderwall hitmakers to issue an urgent warning after ticket websites went into meltdown an hour before sales opened.

See Tickets issued error messages while Ticketmaster popped hopeful gig-goers in a queue to even sign on to the webpage itself.

Manchester lads Liam, 51, and Noel Gallagher, 57, revealed the 17-date domestic leg of their Oasis Live 25 tour this month.

Yet following a pre-sale on Friday – which saw some gig tickets re-listed for a whopping £6K – those awaiting the general sale were less than impressed as history appeared to repeat itself.

One took to X to muse: “They’re probably on #Viagogo already. You’ll have to sell your house.”

Another quizzed: “How is it possible that this is still going on?” as a third ranted: “Have said that these tickets will all be cancelled yet Viagogo list them at massively inflated prices anyway.”

One didn’t mince their words as they put: “How do these robbing c***s @viagogo get away with these prices.”

One bluntly put: “These disgraceful resale sites are just thieves and want shutting down.”

A fan then mused: “All very predictable – #ticketmaster #Oasis – after hours of counting down get kicked out with 5 minutes to go.

“But I can go on Viagogo for the last 12 hours & swap tickets for my house & car!”

In an attempt to quash the anger over the eye-watering fees for the domestic leg of the UK tour, which includes dates in Manchester’s Heaton Park and Wembley, Oasis issued a statement on X.

It read: “Please note, Oasis Live ‘25 tickets can only be resold at face value via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets.

“Tickets appearing on other secondary ticketing sites are either counterfeit or will be cancelled by the promoters.”

One then reacted to the post and said: “Mate we can’t even get into the website!”

Earlier in the morning – which was proving super-stressful for fans of the Songbird chart stars – prospective ticket-purchasers were met with a message that read: “Our Website is very busy!
