News24 | Education council tackles unfair promotions, orders re-advertisement of post due to panel chair bias

A random survey by News24 found that the ELRC overturned the promotions of 26 teachers and ordered the Northern Cape, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal education departments to pay more than R1.2 million in compensation to another 10 teachers.
