Andhra Pradesh: Heavy rains likely as low-pressure area intensifies into depression

The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall for several parts of Andhra Pradesh due to a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal, which has intensified into a depression. Coastal districts are expected to experience heavy rain and strong winds today, with rough sea conditions prevailing. Vijayawada and other regions have already faced significant disruptions.
