According to the call, obtained by TMZ, Artem called and said that his wife Nikki Garcia threw shoes at him.
“Initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at rp [reporting party],” the dispatcher says in the dispatch call.
“There is a child on scene. Medical en route,” they added. “There’s an active 415 [disturbing the peace] in the background responsible.”
Then, they report Artem called of the medical assistance, with the dispatcher saying, “RP is stating no medical is needed now.”
According to TMZ, the dispatch operator noted that a child was at home, presumably their four-year-old son Mateo, and the couple was physically separated from each other.
While the paramedics retreated, police still showed up an hour later, and saw visible injuries on the alleged victim, and the pro dancer was arrested “for felony corporal injury to a spouse.”
Artem was released on $25,000 bond in Napa County, and his mugshot was later released.
Since then, Nikki‘s rep has spoken out about the incident, asking for privacy at this time.
