Woman found dead in tent after apparent drive-by shooting in Vancouver

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Authorities have released more details about a homicide early Wednesday morning in Vancouver that appeared to be the result of a drive-by shooting.
Officers responded to the area of 3500 NE 66th Ave. around 4 p.m. and found Keomany Phetchitvathanalay, 39, inside a tent after she appeared to have died from a gunshot wound.
A medical examiner determined Phetchitvathanalay’s death was a homicide.
“Investigators from the Vancouver Police Department are continuing to follow up on leads and tips and anyone with information related to this crime is asked to call Vancouver Police,” officials said.
