Sky vs. Fever one of the hottest tickets in town

0

If you don’t already have tickets to Friday’s Sky-Fever game at Wintrust Arena, you can either settle in by your TV or prepare to pay some big money to see Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark in person.

A representative for Gametime, a last-minute ticket service, told TMZ Sports that as of Thursday afternoon, the average price to get into Wintrust Arena was $1,045.

A quick check on Friday morning found much higher prices for some of the best seats in the arena. StubHub had two seats listed at more than $9,800 each, while SeatGeek had a much more affordable $3,994 courtside seat. Other seats listed ranged from about $200 in the nosebleed sections to nearly $2,600 closer to the court.

The teams sold out the last time they played at Wintrust.

Since returning from the Olympic break, the Fever are 4-1, with wins over the Sun and Storm. The Sky are 1-4, with a win over the last-place Sparks; their most recent loss came against the 10th-place Mystics.

“We’re not down and out,” Sky coach Teresa Weatherspoon said after Wednesday’s loss. “We’re not happy we didn’t win, but we’re not down and out. It’s not over for us unless we say it is.”

Friday's game tips at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on Ion.
