The season so far
Queen’s Park’s three point haul at Airdrieonians last weekend added to the point they gained against Livingston in their only home game so far in the Championship and lifted the Spiders up to fourth in the table.
Thistle, who picked up eight points in their Premier Sports Cup campaign with wins over Edinburgh City and Montrose enjoyed as well as a penalty kick success against Motherwell, are the early occupiers of second bottom place.
Kris Doolan’s side played out a goalless draw with Morton in their opening Championship game before losing out to a penalty from Raith Rovers Dylan Easton in their second.
Last weekend they went down 2-1 at Falkirk in a roller-coaster of a game where they went down to ten men early, went a goal down just before the hour mark only to equalise and they lose to a late strike.
