Deposit and lending rates rise sequentially in July

In an update from the Reserve Bank of India, both deposit and lending rates for commercial banks saw a sequential rise in July 2024. The weighted average domestic term deposit rates and lending rates increased, reflecting banks' efforts to boost deposit mobilization.
