Roku shares list of ‘hidden’ free channels you’ve missed – you’ll find hundreds legally with no need to download an app
ROKU insiders have revealed an easy way to watch TV for free that you shouldn’t ignore.
The television giant’s devices offer access to premium apps like Netflix, HBO’s Max, Disney+ and more.
But these cost money, and the price of multiple subscriptions can quickly add up.
Now Roku has put out a memo urging users to check out the Live TV Channel Guide.
This is built directly into your Roku TV and serves up a vast selection of content.
So if you know where to find the option, you’ll be able to enjoy free ad-supported streaming in seconds.
And you won’t need to download anything extra.
Roku explains: “The Live TV Channel Guide makes it easy to browse and stream free live TV channels, including news, sports, crime, game shows, food & home, music, comedies, and more.”
Just go to the Live TV tab on your Roku’s Home Screen menu.
And then select Live TV Channel Guide.
You can also find it through the Live TV tile inside The Roku Channel.
Roku has a vast selection of free channels in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico.
It serves up more than 400 free live TV channels on an on-demand basis.
And you can view them all directly through the Live TV Channel Guide.
FULL STREAM AHEAD
Of course Roku’s own TV offering isn’t the only way to watch television for free.
Only yesterday, The U.S. Sun revealed how the Local Now app on Roku gives you over 500 channels for free.

Amazon gives you over 400 live TV channels plus 15,000 on-demand movies and shows for free.

The catch with all of these apps is usually that you’ll need to sit through commercials.
But many apps like Netflix, Amazon Video, and Hulu already offer ad plans that also cost a monthly fee.
So using these entirely free apps is a great way to significantly slash your monthly streaming bills.
