Off-duty FDNY firefighter arrested in Brooklyn: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – An off-duty FDNY firefighter was arrested in Brooklyn on Thursday, according to the NYPD.

Roban Duge, 39, was taken into custody around 10 p.m. He's accused of smacking a person in the eye with a loaded gun during a fight, sources told PIX11 News.

He's accused of fleeing the scene northbound on East 21st Street in a white Land Rover, sources said. Duge was pulled over during a traffic stop, which is when police officers found the firearm, according to sources.

He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon: firearm, per police.
