Where to find Spirit Halloween in the Capital Region
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Although it’s only the end of August, many places have begun gearing up for spooky season. Spirit Halloween, a seasonal Halloween store, is opening back up its locations as fall approaches.
With over 1,500 locations across North America, Spirit Halloween offers costumes, accessories, animatronics and décor. The chain has been celebrating the Halloween season since 1983.
Most Spirit Halloween locations in the Capital Region have already opened. Here’s where you can find a Spirit Halloween near you.
Capital Region locations
- Colonie, in the former Christmas Tree Shops at 131 Colonie Center
- Open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
- Colonie, 32 Wolf Road across from Colonie Center
- Latham, in the former Home Goods at 664 New Loudon Road
- East Greenbush, next to Dollar Tree at 501 Columbia Turnpike
- Clifton Park, next to Lane Bryant in Clifton Park Center at 22 Clifton Country Road
- Costumes and accessories only at this store
- Amsterdam, next to Rent A Center at 111 Sanford Farms Shopping Center
- Queensbury, in the former Sears at 578 Aviation Road
- Hudson, in the former Big Lots at 300 Fairview Avenue
- Pittsfield, in the former Goodwill at 457 Dalton Avenue
- Wilton, in the former Pier 1 Imports at 3078 State Route 50

Hours for all shops except Colonie Center and Wilton:
- Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Since 2007, Spirit Halloween has raised over $127 million with Spirit of Children to provide funding for art, music, aquatic, and pet therapy programs. Funding has also helped hospitals buy sensory and educational items for kids.
