Hungarian consortium withdraws Spanish trainmaker bid after Madrid blocks purchase

Hungarian consortium Ganz-MaVag withdrew its €619 million bid for Spanish trainmaker Talgo on Friday (30 August), just days after Madrid blocked the purchase on national security grounds.
