CoD Black Ops 6 beta: Call of Duty BO6 early access codes and release date revealed
CALL of Duty fans were thrilled when it was announced they will be able to try the latest game before it comes out.
Here we take you through how you can sign up to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will officially launch on October 25, 2024, but fans are getting the chance to play it before then.
Gamers can try the game across two weekends before it’s released to the public – and both sessions are completely free
The beta test is available on all platforms the game will launch on, which includes PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.
Black Ops 6’s first beta session starts on Friday, August 30, 2024, and ends on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
The first session is only open to those who have pre-ordered the game on any platform, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
If you don’t subscribe to Game Pass, and don’t want to pre-order Black Ops 6, you will still get a chance to try out the game before you buy.
Round two of the testing is open to everyone and will begin on Friday, September 6, 2024, and end on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Both beta sessions will focus on the multiplayer modes of the game.
How to get CoD Black Ops 6 beta codes
For the first round of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta, you need to pre-order any version of CoD: BO6.
If you pre-order a digital version, the beta will be available to launch on Battle.net.
However, if you choose to buy a physical copy, you will be sent an email with a beta code to enter.
You can also wait for the second round of beta testing a week later, which will be completely free as you do not need to pre-order.

Both beta weekends contain a variety of maps, which are as follows:

- Scud
- Skyline
- Rewind
- Pit
- Gala
The Black Ops 6 beta features several modes familiar to franchise fans.
These modes are the following:
- Gunfight (Weekend 2 only)
- Face Off Kill Order (Weekend 2 only)
- Team Deathmatch
- Domination
- Hardpoint
- Kill Order
- Face Off Team Deathmatch
- Face Off Kill Confirmed

- Cigma 2B
- Knife

- Jackal PDW
- 9mm PM

The aim is to stress test the servers to ensure they can cope with player capacity, but it might not be representative of the final game.
Players will also be able to feedback on the beta test, which will allow the team to make adjustments as needed.
