One dead in Thursday night crash on north I-35, APD says

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One person is dead after a crash Thursday night on the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 in downtown Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.

APD said the crash occurred at 11:09 p.m. near 15th Street on the upper deck of the interstate.

Austin-Travis County EMS previously said in a social media post paramedics took the person to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.
