Man accused of abducting girl, 9, sexually assaulting her in Queens: NYPD
QUEENS VILLAGE, Queens (PIX11) – A man is accused of abducting a 9-year-old girl and sexually assaulting her in Queens on Thursday, according to the NYPD.
It happened at the Key Food on Jamaica Avenue in Queens Village around 7:30 p.m., sources told PIX11 News. The suspect, presumed to be in his 60s, is accused of taking the girl from her grandmother in the store, according to sources.
He's then accused of leading the girl to his car, driving around the corner to 92nd Avenue and sexually assaulting her, sources said.
The man is accused of dropping the girl off and then fleeing the scene in a brown four-door Honda Civic sedan, according to authorities.
The man was last seen wearing a blue MTA hat, clear glasses, a pink shirt and blue jeans.
