8 Punjab drug runners get 14-year jail term

A Ludhiana court has sentenced eight drug peddlers to 14 years' rigorous imprisonment each for possessing 1.2 lakh intoxicating capsules. Additionally, they were fined between Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 3 lakh. The Narcotics Control Bureau arrested the accused in 2019, seizing a significant amount of Tramadol capsules and related documents during the investigation.
