FBI offering $2,000 reward for identifying Lawrence Bank robber
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information to help identify the individual responsible for a bank robbery.
The robbery happened at the Bank of America at 900 Ohio Street in Lawrence. The crime happened on July 2 around 9:20 a.m.
The suspect is described as African American, athletic build, and approximately 6’0 to 6’5 and 190lbs.
They were seen wearing a black zip-up hooded jacket with a dark-colored undershirt, black pants with a white emblem on the left upper leg, multicolored shoes, light blue “HyFlex” gloves, large black squared sunglasses, and a multicolored face mask.
The suspect entered the bank carrying a black bag and approached a teller making
a verbal demand for cash.
The suspect ran from the bank with an unknown amount of money.
