JD messed up really. His mantra was apparently about player power, and trusting player professionalism. Unfortunately, his roster had players who needed tight management. Latrell Mitchell. Cody Walker. Highly talented but a tight leash required.
He'll come back, and be better for it, but serious questions arose as to his ability to manage big personalities.
