Burnley Fail With Bid For Millwall Star

Burnley have failed with a bid to sign Millwall attacking midfielder Zian Flemming, according to the South London Press.

 

The Dutchman has been impressive at Millwall since joining the club in 2022 and has notched up 93 appearances for the Lions.

 

Flemming has missed the start of the season due to a calf injury and is not expected to return until mid-September.

 

 

However, the injury has not stopped Burnley from trying to snare him away from Millwall late in the window.

 

It has been claimed that the Lions have knocked back an offer from the Clarets for the Dutchman ahead of the deadline.

 

 

Burnley tabled a proposal that would have seen them sign Flemming from Millwall on loan with an obligation to buy.

 

Scott Parker is a big fan of the midfielder and has been keen to add him to his Burnley squad.

 

 

It remains to be seen whether Burnley try to test Millwall’s resolve again before the window closes on Friday night.
