Girl, 5, killed in horror crash that saw car burst into huge fireball – as cops make urgent CCTV appeal
A FIVE-YEAR-OLD girl has tragically died after a horror car crash that left four others in hospital.
Avon and Somerset Police were called to Bishport Avenue, in Hartcliffe, Bristol, on Wednesday August 14 at around 8.20pm after reports of a single vehicle collision.

Fire crews were also called to battle flames engulfing the car.
Eye-witnesses claimed there was a heavy police presence, with multiple ambulances, fire engines and one air ambulance at the scene.
The force sadly confirmed the young girl died this week from her injuries.
Cops have now launched an urgent appeal for information after the tragedy.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Officers are renewing their appeal following a fatal collision in Hartcliffe earlier this month.
“Officers were called to a single-vehicle collision in Bishport Avenue, in Hartcliffe, on Wednesday 14 August at around 8.20pm.
“Four people were taken to hospital, one of whom was in serious condition.
“It is with great sadness that we must confirm a five-year-old girl has sadly died this week from her injuries following the collision.
“Her family are aware and they are being offered support by a specially-trained family liaison officer. Our thoughts are with them at this time.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the collision and we are renewing our appeal for witnesses and anyone with dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage.”
A terrified eye-witness told Bristol Live: said: “11 cop cars, three unmarked, two paramedics, four ambulances, three fire engines and one paramedic chopper was on the scene of Hartcliffe with police tape blocking off the whole street.
“I overheard one of the police officers say something to do with an accident occurring.”
Another added: “I was on the bus and you could see the line of fire in the road where the car was on fire.
“It was like a string of fire behind it so I think the tires might have been on fire.”
