Woman struck in Queens hit-and-run, in critical condition: NYPD

OZONE PARK, Queens (PIX11) – A woman is fighting for her life after being struck by a runaway SUV driver in Ozone Park, according to the NYPD.

The 55-year-old was struck early Thursday morning as she crossed Cross Bay Boulevard near Pitkin Avenue, police said. She was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition as the driver fled the scene, police said. 

Police have not made any arrests Thursday morning.
