DGCA puts SpiceJet under enhanced surveillance

Civil aviation regulator DGCA has placed SpiceJet under enhanced surveillance due to past safety record concerns. Increased spot checks and night surveillance will be enforced. SpiceJet is facing financial difficulties, with plans to raise Rs 3,000 crore.
