Neal Maupay ‘calls Everton a PRISON’ ahead of shock transfer as fans mourn loss of ‘Premier League’s biggest s***house’
NEAL MAUPAY appears to have “called Everton a PRISON” ahead of a shock move for the “Premier League’s biggest s***house.”
Everton striker Maupay, 28, is regarded as one of the top-flight’s biggest wind-up merchants after some tasty bust-ups with opponents this year.

In January he clashed with Tottenham’s James Maddison after trolling the playmaker’s goal celebration.
The following month Maupay was involved in a heated feud with Kyle Walker, who reportedly threatened to “knock out” the forward for “speaking about his kids.”
Fast forward to July and Maupay was this time trolling the England national team just moments after their heartbreaking Euro 2024 final defeat to Spain.
And at the weekend, he hit back at Everton fans who hurled X-rated abuse at players following their heavy defeat at Spurs.
But Maupay is unlikely to be around for many more Premier League confrontations.
That’s because Fabrizio Romano claims he is on the verge of a move to French giants Marseille.
The Ligue 1 outfit are managed by former Brighton boss Robert De Zerbi and boast former Premier League players including Mason Greenwood and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Maupay will join on an initial season-long loan, with the move becoming permanent for £3million next summer.
A medical will take place before tomorrow’s deadline, potentially freeing up space and cash for Everton to land a new forward.
And Maupay is clearly relishing the chance of a fresh start after a wild social media post on Thursday.
He uploaded a clip from famous Hollywood film ‘The Shawshank Redemption’, showing the moment where lead character Andy Dufresne escapes prison and celebrates wildly.
Some fans took this to indicate that Maupay was describing his situation at Everton as a prison he was escaping from.
One said: “Everton will be very upset.”
Another declared: “Congrats for escaping Everton.”
One noted: “Trolling is his main job.”
Another added: “Lmao this cannot be real.”
Despite Maupay’s final dig, top-flight fans admit they are disappointed to see a player widely regarded as the Premier League’s “biggest s***house” go.
One said: “The Prem’s biggest comedian has left, a sad day for banter fans.”
Another declared: “One of the funniest players in the league, will be missed.”
One noted: “Gonna miss his s***housery.”
Another added: “Great player but loves trolling.”
