ITA and UNICEF draw up protections against child trafficking in North Bengal tea estates

The Indian Tea Association (ITA) and UNICEF have launched a programme to combat child trafficking in 30 tea estates in North Bengal. The initiative aims to protect 50,000 children by building capacities of estate managers and welfare officers. The project includes legal literacy clinics and awareness sessions on various social issues.
