The goldsmith revealed that filming has wrapped on another series of The Repair Shop.

He posted a compilation video onto his Instagram grid page from his last day on the set as he paid tribute to his co-stars.

In a gushing move, the TV personality took individual selfies with every member of the production crew on the BBC show.

Richard, 44, clearly wanted to especially thank the behind-the-scenes workers for their part in bringing The Repair Shop onto the airwaves.

Alongside the edited video, he wrote: “Well, that’s the end of filming series 10 for me!

“What a wonderful season with some fantastic people I have the pleasure to call workmates.

“You all know the experts, so wanted to feature the incredible production team that make the series possible @therepairshoptv Thank you for having me.

“It’s a wrap, as they say!”

Although some may think that this could be a full sign off from the star, it appears that is not the case.

His fellow co-star, guitar expert Julyan Wallis, 54, couldn’t help but leave his own heartfelt comment as they finished their work.

Instead, he seemed to confirm that the pair will be back and eventually reunite on the next series of the show.

“Love you brother. See you next year,” he wrote.

Richard showed his co-star a bit of love right back as he replied: “And you Jules!”, alongside a red heart emoji.

Last year The Repair Shop won the National Television Award in the Best Daytime category.

The Repair Shop experts

The Repair Shop premiered in 2017 and sees family heirlooms restored for their owners by numerous experts with a broad range of specialisms. Jay Blades acts as the foreman, with a talented team at work in the restoration process. Let's take a look at some of them.

  • Jay Blades: Foreman of The Repair Shop and Furniture Restorer
  • Will Kirk: Carpenter, Cabinet Maker and Wood Painter
  • Steve Fletcher: Clock Restorer
  • Suzie Fletcher: Saddle Maker and Leather Worker
  • Dominic Chinea: Metal Worker and Signs Restorer
  • Sonnaz Nooranvary: Upholstery Restorer
  • Amanda Middleditch and Julie Tatchell: Soft-toy Restorers

The BBC programme beat out This Morning in a surprise upset.

Once again, it’s set to go head-to-head with the long-running magazine show at the 2024 ceremony.

Both programmes face stiff competition as they are up against The Chase, Deal or No Deal, and Loose Women.
