FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Happy Thursday!
Our hot and humid stretch continues today, as temperatures top out in the low to middle 90s this afternoon, but feel close to the upper 90s. We'll see partly cloudy skies throughout the day, with just an isolated storm chance this afternoon.
Friday is the last of the really hot stretch, with highs in the middle 90s, but once again feeling closer to the triple digits. We'll see partly cloudy skies, then we'll be tracking thunderstorms late in the day, and overnight into Saturday. I expect some Football Friday Nite games will be dodging showers at times. Luckily, however, they will be spotty, not widespread.
Our cold front finally begins tracking through overnight and into Saturday. This will bring rain showers and a rumble or two to start the day Saturday. Those showers start to decrease in coverage into the afternoon, eventually clearing up completely later in the day. Humidity will be starting to drop, with highs in the middle 80s.
Then for Sunday, a much nicer day on tap. We'll be less humid, with more sunshine, and highs in the middle 80s.
Labor Day Monday looks fantastic, with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 and sunshine.
