Navy on Shivaji statue: Conceptualised, steered project with state govt which also gave funds

The Indian Navy revealed its role in conceptualising and overseeing the Shivaji statue project in Maharashtra's Malvan, which collapsed after nine months. Coordinating with the state government, which funded the project, the Navy is committed to restoring the statue. A joint technical committee has been formed to investigate the incident.
