People are left in hysterics by man’s new leg tattoo and say it’s what you get when ‘you order Elvis off Temu’
PEOPLE often get tattoos based on their favourite films, books and even actors and singers.
But one man’s tribute to the King of Rock, Elvis Presley, has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.
One man decided to get a tribute of the King of Rock tattooed on his leg[/caption]The image of the tattoo was shared on social media and it seemed nobody had anything good to say.
The leg inking featured an image of Elvis, born in 1935, smiling in a black and grey colour scheme.
While you could see that the tattoo did resemble the rock star – there was something about it that just seemed off.
For one the forehead was far too big and his eyes were at different heights on his face, and looking in opposite directions.
His famous pearly white smile looked more like a snarl and his nose was far too big compared to the real deal.
The post soon went viral on the Facebook group, That’s It, I’m inkshaming. (Actually Bad Tattoos), where people quickly took to the comments to share their disgust.
Many joked the portrait looked like a budget version of the King of Rock.
One person wrote: “If you can tell what it is but it’s still bad, it’s a confusing feeling. His right eye is winking at ya.”
Another commented: “What happens when you order Elvis off of Temu.”
“When you type “Elvish” instead of Elvis,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Oh this one hurts.”
“This has me all shook up,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Wow.”
While many people decided to get portraits of their favourite celebs etched into their skin – there are a few things you should consider before going ahead with it.
Tattoo Do's and Don'ts
1. Think, think and think some more
Tattoos done on a whim are far more likely to lead to regret than a tattoo you thought long and hard about. Think about why you want what you’ve chosen. And if you still want it after a few months, then get it.
2. Age restrictions apply
You must be 18 years old to be tattooed in the UK.
3. Don’t haggle over the price
When you go to a tattoo shop the price is the price. You are paying for an artist’s time and skills, they charge what they believe those things are worth.
4. Don’t get tattooed while you’re hungry
Eat before you go for your tattoo session and make sure you’re hydrated. You’re about to be subjected to a period of sustained physical discomfort, if you’re feeling a little weak from hunger or you’re dehydrated things will not go as smoothly as they should.
5. Don’t drink alcohol before you get tattooed
If you are drunk or under the influence of drugs, don’t go for a tattoo. In fact, if your tattooist has anything at all about them they will turn you away if you are clearly under the influence of any intoxicating substances. I’d also avoid drinking the night before, even a few drinks will thin your blood and make your bleed more.
According to nrstudios cChoosing a skilled and experienced portrait tattoo artist is essential for a successful outcome.
It’s not something every tattoo artist is equipped to do so it’s vital to have a look at their portfolio before booking in a session.
