The shopper shared her honest opinion of Dollar Tree’s skincare range on Reddit’s Drugstore MUA forum, which has almost 180,000 members.

TWICE AS NICE

Her photo showed Real Techniques’ Glow Finish Blend Extender and Personal Care Reviving Aloe Mist bought for $1.25 each.

“I picked up these two items at Dollar Tree and I’m loving what they’re doing for my skin and makeup application,” she said, writing under the handle Professional-Log-530.

“The Aloe Spray is super hydrating and I’ve taken to spraying it on my face under my makeup before sunscreen.

“It does have a tiny bit of a sting at first but it could be because I have Rosacea (not in a flare currently) and my skin is sensitive to alcohol at first contact.

“I use the Real Techniques Glow finish on my beauty blender (just a light spray or two) before pouncing in my skin tint.

“It leaves a nice healthy glow.

“As a matter of fact, I can now leave off my Elf Halo Glow if I want to. Just thought I’d mention these two new finds to you all!”

TOPPING UP

The Redditor’s budget-friendly buys saved her money as e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter costs $14.74 at Walmart.

Many people upvoted the post and thanked her for sharing the product recommendations.

“I bought like 20 of them and had no idea where in my makeup process I was supposed to use this, so thank you,” one person said.

“I’ve been trying to find that Real Techniques spray at several dollar trees! I can’t find it anywhere,” another commented.

The Redditor revealed that she had stocked up on the must-have item.

“I ended up buying 3 or 4 bottles over 6 weeks,” she replied.

“One every week or two.

“I didn’t want to be greedy in case anyone wanted them but no one came in but they were banged up but I didn’t care.

“This sweet guy that works there calls me TikTok because I come in getting the makeup influencers recommend lol.”

Dollar Tree dupes

Savvy shoppers have scoured Dollar Tree to find dupes of their favorite products

Shoppers found a perfect replica of a $150 set of Pottery Barn plates and bowls. Plus, Dollar Tree has matching mugs.

Dollar Tree also had dupes for the viral Starbucks tumblers.

Customers found dupes for Home Depot’s $39 outdoor solar lights.

Dollar Tree has a dupe for The Pink Stuff cleaning paste, too.

MORE DUPES

The product recommendations come after TikToker Kylie (@kyl13gilbert) was impressed by a dupe sold at Dollar Tree.

Dollar Tree’s Hydrating Facial Wipes costs $1.25 while Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Cleansing Towelettes are sold at Target for $6.98.

Kylie said the cheap version was “definitely good” as they cleaned her skin perfectly after sleeping with her makeup on.

She added that the pack of 25 wipes felt  “thick” and “nice.”
