Troy men arrested on drug charges after police seize cocaine
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two pounds of cocaine were seized in Troy. Tramel Williams and his roommate, Edgar Bonilla, were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The Rensselaer County district attorney said more than two pounds of cocaine, several rounds of ammunition, extended firearm magazines, and an AR rifle were seized from their residence.
Troy City Court sent Williams to jail without bail; however, a county court judge released him with an electronic monitor.
Officials said this was the largest seizure of drugs in Rensselaer County up to this point in 2024.
